
During his army service, Mr. Leave headed the Army’s elite Electronic R&D Department, which develops state-of-the-art telecommunications, electro- optical and electro- mechanical systems. Under his leadership, the unit was decorated three times with the Israel Defense Award. Following his military service, he was involved in the management of several hi-tech start-ups, and served as a Venture Partner in two leading Israeli VCs. Mr. Leave is the founder and CEO of Go Networks, and he holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Mr. Keinan is in charge of SemantiNet's product strategy and business execution. Prior to founding SemantiNet, Tal worked at Morgan Stanley's Risk Management Department, where he was in charge of the bank’s Scenario Analysis product. Born and raised in Israel, Tal has been a technology tinkerer since a young age. Following his graduation from the Tel-Aviv University High-School for Excellence in Technology and Science, Tal served in the communication department of the Israeli Army leading Computer Division (MAMRAM). Following his army service, Tal worked for the Government of Israel, Mission to the United States. In 2004, Tal graduated with honors from Columbia University with a B.S in Computer Science and Economics.
Eyal Niv, Managing Director, joined our board in 2007, following Giza investment. Eyal specializes in the sectors of semiconductors, mobile and networking technologies. Eyal is helping us with ongoing company building, recruiting and strategic planning. Prior to joining Giza, Mr. Niv was the founder of Super Computers, an Enterprise Application Integration company, and was responsible for system analysis of large medical databases. Mr. Niv holds a BCom in Actuarial Science & Corporate Finance from Wits University, SA.
